It’s been over a year of blogging and I am oh-so-grateful to have a place to share some of the things I’ve found extremely helpful as my family and I care(d) for my grandparents. Since some of you are more recent readers, I thought I’d do a little reminiscing to remind you of some of the posts that have already been written. If you want to see all my posts that were part of a series, you can click Recent Series.
I wrote these posts a little while ago, so join me as we take a walk down memory lane. =)
The Decades: Cheers and Challenges
What’s the best age to be? Some people automatically assume that the younger you are, the better. What I have found is that each decade has its pros and cons but it’s just a matter of remembering the pros when you experience the cons. If you think you’re over the hill, maybe you need to check this out.=)

That’s Greek to Me!
Working in seniorcare the past five years and counting have been like going to school for me (except I make money and its more fun!) With each job I have (from Wellness Coordinator to Outreach to Education) I have learned so many things that I have found so helpful as I help to care for my grandparents. Some of it is just knowledge, but other times I’ve learned how to care for them better and how to love them more. Instead of keeping all this important and interesting info to myself, the That’s Greek to Me series is all about sharing what I know. I regret I wasn’t able to post more in this series, but I think I was writing these right around the time I was having morning sickness. =) Enjoy!
